How Can I Be Removed From The Yahoo Directory.?
My site details for the web results have changed over the years. Unfortunately, my inclusion in the Yahoo directory seems to be written in stone and can not be changed by updating my meta tags, title or description. An SEO company told me it is because I am listed in the Yahoo directory.
They said being removed from the directory would allow my site listing to become more dynamic.
I had paid the $299 express inclusion several years ago. It does not seem to be indexing me according to changes in my product line, and it just keeps the info from years ago.
Anyone have any information on this to enlighten me further?

if a site is listed on several directories including dmoz / yahoo directory / google directory etc
if the site faces penalty by search engine ? does it affect directories ? or not ?
how do they find and remove the link (or) they use no follow link so that SE doesnt penalise them.
